  • Lead and manage the national Student Centres team
  • Position can be based in either Melbourne, North Sydney or Brisbane

The Student Administration Directorate is led by the Academic Registrar and includes the following two Divisions:

  • Administrative Services - responsible for Admissions; Enrolments, Fees and Scholarships; Timetabling, Examinations and Results and Student Centres

  • Systems - responsible for Student Systems and Information Resource Management.

The Student Centres (located on all six campuses of the University) are the focal points for student enquiries on a broad range of matters affecting them as students of the University, and for enquiries from staff, prospective students, former students and the general public.

As the Manager, Student Centres, you will support the Directorate's strategic priorities which focus on the achievement of continuous improvement in the quality of service provision to, and relationship with, clients. You will also be responsible for initiating and progressing business process reviews to ensure ongoing functional improvements and excellence in client service, as well as providing strong leadership, management, direction and high level support to the geographically dispersed Student Centres staff.

To be successful in this position, you will possess a relevant degree, together with progress towards a postgraduate qualification; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. You will demonstrate superior leadership and management skills and a proven ability to deliver excellence in client service. High level writing skills and strong analytical and planning skills are essential.

Total remuneration valued to $109,540 - $116,889 pa, including salary component $92,563 - $98,839 pa (HEW Level 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
